Silence on Loan is an artists' book in the form of a 10" vinyl dub plate cut with a silent groove The publication is shelved without the protection of sleeve or cover in the Artists' Books Special Collection at Winchester School of Art Library.
Once a year Silence on Loan is taken from the shelf and performed. This year the performance will not be open to the public, but you are still invited to not listen to it wherever you are - at home or work, alone or in company.
